IAC Hand Crank Height Adjustable Workbench 30”D x 60”W (940 Series with MTS-I)

This workstation is a motorized/electric hydraulic adjustable height with 12-inches of adjustment range, from 30" to 42". A cantilever support system, housing the hydraulic lifters, provides maximum leg room, while the bolted steel channel frame delivers a range of 1500 lbs. when fully lowered, 500 lbs. when adjusting and 750 lbs. at mid height evenly-distributed load capacity. Choose accessories such as slotted vertical supports for shelving and lighting, drawers, electrical and shelving that adjusts up and down in unison with worksurface. Height adjustment is electrically actuated via Up/Down pushbuttons. This controller is positioned on the right or left side, under the worksurface support frame. 

This adjustable height bench legs are aluminum with a silver coating. Your color choice applied to the bench frame and beams.

Pro Series Frame:

This bench series has a welded steel frame, finished in a choice of durable, baked-on powder-coat paint, manufactured with a traditional cantilever design eliminating front support legs to provide unobstructed movement and greater leg comfort. 

Hydraulic heavy gauge slide system actuated by a hand crank or motor moves the worksurface by 2” increments (whether manual hand crank or electric motorized) from 30” to 42”. The pedestal leg construction is heavy gauge high grade aluminum with heavy gauge 2” by 3” tube pedestal top supports and 2” by 3” tube bases (including adjustable floor glides to support leveling actions). The lower half pedestal slides into the upper half pedestal for easy height adjustment, with 2 bolts per pedestal providing sturdy support. 

The heavy gauge C-Channel support beam is 1.5” high and pre-inserted for easy attachment of suspended drawers and cabinets. Extra support is provided by an 18” high heavy gauge rear panel.

Multi-Task Frame System I (MTS-I)

The MTS-I System is designed to enable operators easy configuration, and reconfiguration, of above the worksurface storage, tool management, lighting and electrical services. MTS-I consists of three (3) 48” high slotted vertical posts mounted to a support panel and bracket kit that is attached to the underside of the worksurface (this three post slotted system is unique to IAC Industries); dimensions are heavy (12) gauge double slotted, 2” wide x 1-7/8” deep slotted vertical posts. These slotted vertical posts are stabilized at their tops with a full length tie beam for enhanced rigidity.  

These uprights are mounted using C-clamp bases, 3/16” steel plate, bolted to the underside of the worksurface with brackets which provide secure fastening to the worksurface; each positioned at each corner and center of the bench. These slotted vertical posts accept a wide variety of accessories such as shelves, electrical channels, and lighting and computer accessory swing arms. Each accessory can be positioned up and down the 48” high vertical upright at 1” increments. The maximum load capacity for the MTS frame is 250 lbs. with no more than 50 lbs. above the center of the slotted vertical posts.

MTS-I & II Economy Light with Tool Trolley

The MTS-FRAME tool trolley mounts to the economy light support brackets, ensure that you choose the part number that includes both the tool trolley and the light. Tool trolleys allow the operator to access air or electric tools from above the worksurface. The light fixtures, which the trolley attaches to, are ergonomically designed to aid the operator with the repetitive reaching of tools. The trolley provides free travel across the entire width of the worksurface. Use pneumatic or electrical tools. Additional sliding tool hangers are available as an option. Tool trollies are full length accessories, spanning the entire width of your chosen bench length. 

The MTS-FRAME frame economy light is UL Listed and accepts two (2) T8 tube lights (not included), 48” long light mounts anywhere along the vertical uprights of the MTS-FRAME frame structure. This light includes an on/off switch attached to an 8-ft power cord. The light includes a prismatic lens diffuser, with 100-110 foot candles of illumination at the worksurface (with nominal ambient light). The Electronic Ballast operates cooler and more efficiently (lower air conditioning costs) and is 10% more efficient than magnetic ballasts; 15-20% more efficient than standard electromagnetic ballasts. This lighting system operates above 20,000 Hz and eliminates 60 cycle hum and flicker, all while remaining environmentally safe. 

The light adjusts up and down along the slotted uprights, allowing you multiple height options depending on your specific need, as well as in and out for reach differences. The light angle tilts on the bracket connector axis for optimum light direction. This lights brackets are manufactured with heavy (12) gauge brackets with included hand knobs to lock light at correct angle. 

MTS-I Shelving

Multi-Task System utility shelves are manufactured with heavy gauge formed steel to provide off-the-worksurface storage; shelving formed as a steel pan. These shelves are 12” deep and include angle brackets that adjust from 0 – 17 degrees. Each set flush with the MTS uprights and include a shelf lip that acts as a parts cup rail. The brackets for these shelves are heavy (12) gauge steel and allow the shelf to slide into the MTS upright with secure positioning. 

The actual lengths for MTS-I shelving (remember that MTS-I has three slotted posts, thus requiring the shelves to be half length) are 60” bench have 26” long shelves, 72” bench have 32” long shelves and 96” bench have 44” shelves. Each shelf featuring quick release hand lever brackets for easy angle adjustment with a load rating of 50 lbs. per shelf – based on overall frame capacity. Shelves are metal but to include ESD options; ensure that you have selected ESD if required for your application.  

MTS-I Multi-Bin Panel

IAC’s multi-bin panel for the MTS-I three post slotted frame are offered in either standard or ESD applications; these bin rails are 6” high and made with heavy (18) gauge uni-web panel and are mounted to heavy (14) gauge brackets; remember that MTS-I have three slotted posts, meaning your bin rail is half the length of your bench. There are six rails per section, which are ideal for multiple bin storage. These MTS-I bin rails accept industry standard part bins and other rail options. These are ideal for stacking when a large number of bins are used.  

MTS-I Electrical Channel

The electrical channel for the MTS-I frame system is mounted to heavy (14) gauge brackets and can be positioned where your electrical access is needed most; at the worksurface, above or below shelves or anywhere along the uprights. Remember that the MTS-I frame is a three post slotted upright system, allowing you to have electrical channels in different positions to the left or right of the center post. The channel includes an 8-ft molded power cord, 6 outlets, and a 15-amp circuit breaker; wired for 15-amp, 120-volt AC. This channel meets UL requirements and is ETL approved.
