Privacy Policy for store.iacindustries.com

SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

Your privacy is critically important to us. At IAC Industries, Inc. (IAC) we have a few fundamental principles:

  • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it.
  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of one of our services.

If you have questions about deleting or correcting your personal data please contact us.

It is IAC's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, IAC collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. IAC's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how IAC's visitors use its website. From time to time, IAC may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

IAC also collects potentially personally-identifying information that is collected by Google Analytics. The analytics feature IAC has implemented is based on Display Advertising (e.g., Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, the Doubleclick Campaign Manager integration, or Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting). Visitors can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customer Display Network ads using Ads Settings in your Google account.

IAC will not facilitate the merging of personally-identifiable information with non-personally identifiable information previously collected from Google Display Advertising features that is based on the DoubleClick cookie unless IAC has robust notice of, and the user's prior affirmative (i.e., opt-in) consent to, that merger. IAC also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. IAC only discloses logged in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

At any time, visitors may choose to opt-out of Google Analytics tracking with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

IAC uses the Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting feature to identify trends in the usage of its website which may be published in reports for internal use.

Aggregated Statistics

IAC may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. IAC may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, IAC does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

SECTION 2 - CONSENT

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, you imply your consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

Your submission of personal information, such as mailing or email address, implies permission to send occasional information about IAC. We do not share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at: benchsales@iacindustries.com

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 - AUTHORIZE.NET

Payment

Your credit card payments are accepted by IAC, and secured via the Authorize.net gateway. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of comprehensive requirements developed by the major card brands to facilitate the adoption of consistent data security measures. Each year Authorize.net renews their PCI DSS compliance.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site and its service providers.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

SECTION 6 - SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

IAC uses cookies to help IAC identify and track visitors, their usage of the IAC website, and their website access preferences. IAC and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to report how your ad impressions, other uses of ad services, and interactions with these ad impressions and ad services are related to visits to your site. IAC's visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using IAC's websites, with the drawback that certain features of IAC's websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

SECTION 9 - CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
