The Workmaster Workbench is ideal for almost any environment. Manufactured and designed by IAC Industries to meet a broad range of application needs. All IAC products are ergonomically designed (combining ergonomics and lean manufacturing standards) to ensure maximum worker safety, improved efficiency and greater productivity. Each Workmaster Workbench is adjustable with its telescoping legs – allowing for different height relevant to the operator and/or application.

Workmaster Frame and Bench Legs:

The Workmaster is comprised of two (2) “H” Frame legs on each side of the bench – two legs are connected with a beam offering extra support, creating the “H” frame. These legs include bolted on heavy-duty leg extenders, with floor glides, offering various worksurface/top heights. These adjustable legs offer a standard height of 30"; with adjustments to 32", 34", and 36" high – all 2” increments. The front and rear heavy-gauge top support beams allow for 1500 lbs. of weight when evenly distributed.

The worksurface is laminated over industrial-grade particle board to a full 1-1/4” thickness; metal threaded inserts are installed in a sealed underside for easy installation and long term strength and durability. Includes with this product is assembly hardware to be used with the pre-installed threaded inserts for easy assembly and high-strength connections. Each workbench has available options for ESD and includes dual ground studs and a 10-ft. ground cord. Topping this all off with an ergonomic 180 degree rolled front edge – standard on all IAC workbenches and workstations. Each ESD Worksurface is tested and results are logged at the factory/IAC Industries.

Workmaster Suspended Drawers and Cabinets:

Workmaster suspended drawers and cabinets have a metal construction suing heavy gauge formed steel, ranging from 14-20 gauge. They include ergonomically designed and positioned safety recessed handles. These products include full extension “easy close” slides with metal roller ball bearing and 100 lbs. full extension, spring loaded, load capacity. These drawers and cabinets mount using a provided bracket and front support beam. Single drawers are stackable for various configurations, with each drawer and cabinet having a depth of 20”. 

Workmaster Multi-Task Frame System II (MTS-II)

The MTS-II System is designed to enable operators easy configuration, and reconfiguration, of full-bench-length above the worksurface storage, tool management, lighting and electrical services. MTS-II consists of two (2) 48” high slotted vertical posts mounted to a support panel and bracket kit that is attached to the underside of the worksurface (this two post slotted system is unique to IAC Industries); dimensions are heavy (12) gauge double slotted, 2” wide x 1-7/8” deep slotted vertical posts. These slotted vertical posts are stabilized at their tops with a full length tie beam for enhanced rigidity.

These uprights are mounted using C-clamp bases, 3/16” steel plate, bolted to the underside of the worksurface with brackets which provide secure fastening to the worksurface; each positioned at each corner of the bench. These slotted vertical posts accept a wide variety of accessories such as shelves, electrical channels, and lighting and computer accessory swing arms. Each accessory can be positioned up and down the 48” high vertical upright at 1” increments. The maximum load capacity for the MTS frame is 250 lbs. with no more than 50 lbs. above the center of the slotted vertical posts. 

MTS-I & II Economy Light with Tool Trolley

The MTS-FRAME tool trolley mounts to the economy light support brackets, ensure that you choose the part number that includes both the tool trolley and the light. Tool trolleys allow the operator to access air or electric tools from above the worksurface. The light fixtures, which the trolley attaches to, are ergonomically designed to aid the operator with the repetitive reaching of tools. The trolley provides free travel across the entire width of the worksurface. Use pneumatic or electrical tools. Additional sliding tool hangers are available as an option.

Tool trollies are full length accessories, spanning the entire width of your chosen bench length.

The MTS-FRAME frame economy light is UL Listed and accepts two (2) T8 tube lights (not included), 48” long light mounts anywhere along the vertical uprights of the MTS-FRAME frame structure. This light includes an on/off switch attached to an 8-ft power cord. The light includes a prismatic lens diffuser, with 100-110 foot candles of illumination at the worksurface (with nominal ambient light). The Electronic Ballast operates cooler and more efficiently (lower air conditioning costs) and is 10% more efficient than magnetic ballasts; 15-20% more efficient than standard electromagnetic ballasts. This lighting system operates above 20,000 Hz and eliminates 60 cycle hum and flicker, all while remaining environmentally safe.

The light adjusts up and down along the slotted uprights, allowing you multiple height options depending on your specific need, as well as in and out for reach differences. The light angle tilts on the bracket connector axis for optimum light direction. This lights brackets are manufactured with heavy (12) gauge brackets with included hand knobs to lock light at correct angle. 

MTS-II Shelving:

Multi-Task System utility shelves are manufactured with heavy gauge formed steel to provide off-the-worksurface storage; shelving formed as a steel pan. These shelves are 12” deep and include angle brackets that adjust from 0 – 17 degrees. Each set flush with the MTS uprights and include a shelf lip that acts as a parts cup rail. The brackets for these shelves are heavy (12) gauge steel and allow the shelf to slide into the MTS upright with secure positioning.

The actual lengths for MTS-II shelving (remember that MTS-II has two slotted posts) are 48” bench have 43.5” long shelves, 60” bench have 55.5” long shelves and 72” benches have 67.5” long shelves. Each shelf featuring quick release hand lever brackets for easy angle adjustment with a load rating of 50 lbs. per shelf – based on overall frame capacity. Shelves are metal but to include ESD options; ensure that you have selected ESD if required for your application. 

MTS-II Multi-Bin Panel

IAC’s multi-bin panel for the MTS-II two post slotted frame are offered in either standard or ESD applications; these bin rails are 6” high and made with heavy (18) gauge uni-web panel and are mounted to heavy (14) gauge brackets; remember that MTS-II frames have two slotted posts, meaning that your bin rail spans the full length of your bench. There are six rails per section, which are ideal for multiple bin storage. These MTS-II bin rails accept industry standard part bins and other rail options. These are ideal for stacking when a large number of bins are used.

MTS-II Electrical Channel

The electrical channel for the MTS-II frame system is mounted to heavy (14) gauge brackets and can be positioned where your electrical access is needed most; at the worksurface, above or below shelves or anywhere along the uprights. Remember that the MTS-II frame is a two post slotted upright system, allowing you to have electrical channels spanning the entire width of the workbench. The channel includes an 8-ft molded power cord, 6 outlets, and a 15-amp circuit breaker; wired for 15-amp, 120-volt AC. This channel meets UL requirements and is ETL approved.
