Dimension 4 workstations easily expand to meet your growing needs through IAC’s intelligent modular technology, which enables you to reconfigure your stations at any time. The basic D4 unit (Single Sided Starter Unit), which you are viewing now, can be used as a standalone configuration or combine with a D4 “adder” unit (Single Sided Adder Unit). The D4’s modular technology solves your application needs today while setting the foundation for future expansion. 

All IAC products are ergonomically designed (combining ergonomics and lean manufacturing standards) to ensure maximum worker safety, improved efficiency and greater productivity.  Each D4 station is fully adjustable, providing you with the ability to customize your station with footrests, shelving, worksurface height adjustments and other components for personal comfort and efficiency.

Dimension 4 Uprights:

The D4 frame has a unique two-piece extruded aluminum construction made of T5 Aluminum alloy with thick wall construction and heavy gauge connector brackets that provide rigid connections between upright extrusions. The uprights include a captive nutway that provides infinite adjustment points for accessories with milled nutway ports that provide easy assembly and accessory add-on at a later date. Each upright is securely bolted to 2" x 3" aluminum bases (foot) that include floor glides that provide workstation leveling adjustments; 12” deep uprights with a two piece construction which give this station flexibility and additional stability. The uprights come with a slide-in accent /trim strip which contrast color between the uprights and the bench, these trim panels are laminate. Plastic tops and end caps are included with the uprights to provide a finished appearance. There is a 1-3/4” internal clearance which opens enough room for hidden air, data cables and other utilities that are common for vertical uprights.

Worksurface Tops:

D4 Tops include lengths of 60" and/or 72" with a standard depth of 30”. Each bench configuration will support 750 lbs. when evenly distributed. The overall bench length for this category is approximately 2” longer than the worksurface top; this is due to the upright width. All D4 tops are standard 1-1/4" worksurface thickness using 1-3/16" commercial grade particle board and postform grade melamine plastic laminate that is applied under pressure; 180° rolled front edge is standard. Important for you to note is that these worksurfaces come standard with pre-inserted threads that provide strength, durability and easy assembly and future retrofit.

Frame Assembly:

Single sided stations have a heavy Gauge 13" high modesty panel that attaches to each upright; this provides rigid and square foundation for the bench. Each configuration has a pair of heavy gauge formed steel worksurface top brackets that combine with two extruded aluminum worksurface support "hat sections”; these hat section providing lateral support and the future addition of suspended drawers and cabinets along with other accessories. The captive square head bolt in hat section allows drawers to be mounted anywhere along the hat section. The frame color matches paint selection for the uprights

Electrical Channel:

Dimension 4 electrical channel include three duplex outlets, on/off switch with pilot light, circuit breaker, and molded 8 ft. power cord and is UL listed. The color of this product is Textured Gray with Apollo Blue trim. 

Parts Cup Rail:

Dimension 4 Workstations Parts Cup Stringer adjusts up/down and back/forth to aid the operator with repetitive reaching motion. The parts cup stringer accepts standard parts cup(s) and other accessories.

Shelving:

The adjustable shelves come in standard and/or ESD laminate surface. Shelving has a weight capacity of 75-lbs. evenly distributed. D4 Shelves are UL Listed structural components and are: Height Adjustable, Available in two lengths, Powder Coat Painted Textured Gray with Dove Gray (Standard) or Gray (ESD) laminate. 

Tool Trolley:

The Dimension 4 Workstation Tool Trolley allows the operator to access air or electric tools from above the worksurface. The light fixtures are ergonomically designed to aid the operator with the repetitive reaching of tools. The Tool Trolley mounts to the D4 uprights and includes one slide tool hanger. Additional sliding tool hangers are available as an option. Tool Trolley provides free travel across entire width of worksurface. Use pneumatic or electrical tools. Additional Tool Trolley Hanger for multiple tools or replacement is available. Tool Trolley color is Textured Gray.

Light Fixture:

Dimension 4 Workstations lighting offers a wide angle of light diffusion. Prismatic Diffusers are flat sheets of plastic with a prismatic configuration on the bottom surface to direct light rays at the highest angles from the fixture plane. Mounts to the uprights and adjusts up/down and in/out, as well as angle-adjustable. Accepts two (2) T8 tube lights (not included) and includes standard prismatic diffuser, 8-ft. power cord with on/off switch. This lighting fixture color is Ivory.
